USA : San Francisco

After my wedding assignment in Orange County I made a trip north west to San Francisco. When I was a kid I used to look at slides of different places around the world with GAS View Master. I told myself one day I'm going to walk across the Golden Gate bridge and I finally did it. This post is a simple photo journal of my short stopover in San Francisco. Unfortunately it was raining almost throughout my whole trip. But I was lucky on my last day the weather cleared up and I was able to walk the Golden Gate bridge. #sanfrancisco #goldengatebridge #california #usa

USA : Orange County

This is a series of belated journals that I have forgotten to put up. It's been nearly two years and it's about time I post this up. I did a post about my stop over in Narita on my way to the US. This is actually the continuation of that post. I was in California on wedding assignment for a Japanese couple and traveled to a few parts of US. Most of the shots here were taken with Sony A6000 and some on Nikon D800E. #orangecounty #oc #california #usa

Tokyo : 2015 Halloween Night - The Streets of Shibuya

HALLOWEEN. TOKYO. This is the second consecutive year that I've spent my Halloween in Tokyo. And all I can say is, it's getting crazier! For those of you who missed out on last year's article on Halloween, check them out HERE. There are too many images to share in a single article so I decided to split them into two parts; The Streets of Shibuya and in Shibuya T2 club. In this article I share images taken around the main streets of Shibuya. The variety of costumes ran the gamut from the stereotypical sexy nurse/policewoman/nuns, cosplays of characters from Naruto, Attack On Titan, Dragonball, Ultraman, Tokyo Ghoul, various movie characters like Draco Malfoy and Jack Sparrow, men crossdressing, men just going topless, and even a homemade R2D2 with Darth Vader guiding her along. A couple of Japanese pop culture 'icons' also make an appearance.

Thailand : Muay Thai The Art of Eight Limbs

MUAY THAI, also known as muay boran, is the Art of Eight Limbs. It gained international widespread popularity in the twentieth century after nak muay (Thai word for Muay Thai practitioner) defeated other notable martial art practitioners. It is known as the Art of Eight Limbs because of the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, shins and feet. Muay thai requires extreme body conditioning, discipline, and mental strength. It was once an important component of the military during the reign of King Naresuan in 1560 CE and was widely used in actual warfare.

Maldives : Island Getaway

Just four days in Sri Lanka wasn't enough to experience all it has to offer, especially the city of Colombo. There's so much to see and document. Will have to leave that for next time. It's time to head south west to the Republic of Maldives - an island nation so small that you can hardly even spot them on the map. And Sri Lankan Airlines takes me there.
